The Harsh Reality
I have been a devoted registered nurse for over 12 years. I thought I fully understood patient and caregiver struggles. It wasn't until I faced my own medical issues where I really understood.
The cost of healthcare blew me away. In an effort to save money on my monthly prescriptions, I began buying double the doses of my medication, and splitting them myself. This was when I first experienced the frustration with my tablets getting crushed or split unevenly.
Our Solution
Knowing that others online were unhappy with the poor quality pill cutters available, I enlisted my husband, a design engineer with a passion for manufacturing, to help me create the Equadose pill cutter.
That was only the beginning. The feedback that we got back from our customers were so positive that we decided to tackle other healthcare issues. That's how products like our pill crusher, the HEAR line, Tweezy, and many others came to fruition.
